General Terms and Conditions for the ticket sale and attendance of the
9th International Cradle to Cradle Congress, as well as attending this event.
Organizer: Cradle to Cradle – Wiege zur Wiege e.V. (C2C NGO in the following)
1. CONTRACTUAL BASIS
The organizer is the C2C NGO. The sales contract is concluded between the ticket purchaser and the organizer. Pretix acts only as a distribution partner in ticket sales.
There is a free choice of seats at the event. A seat reservation is not possible.
The ticket purchaser carries the risk for the correct entry or specification of information in the ordering process.
2. FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT
– The purchase of tickets is only permitted to persons with a minimum age of 18 years and unrestricted legal capacity or with the consent of the legal representative.
– The contract between the buyer and the seller comes into effect through the acceptance of a purchase offer by C2C NGO/Pretix by sending a ticket number and is subject to the condition precedent of full payment in due time.
3. PAYMENT & DELIVERY
– The ticket prices for the 9th International Cradle to Cradle Congress do not include VAT.
The purchase price and fees are due for payment within 3 working days upon conclusion of the contract.
Tickets will only be delivered digitally via download link after conclusion of the contract, i.e. after full payment of the ticket price.
In case of payment by a payment provider, C2C NGO assigns the payment claims against the buyer to the provider of the selected payment method; in this respect, the general terms and conditions of the respective payment method provider shall apply additionally.
4. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
According to § 312g para. 2 No. 9 BGB, there is no right of revocation.
5. TICKETS
The purchase of a ticket entitles the purchaser to attend the event indicated on the ticket.
SAFETY
Tickets must be kept in a safe place and protected from damaging influences. For example, after printing, the illegibility of the information on the ticket, which is important for admission control, can lead to the invalidation of the ticket and thus to the loss of the right of admission. It is strongly recommended not to share digital tickets, ticket number, ticket code, etc. publicly, especially on social media.
The organizer is not obliged to check identity at the entrance (digital and on-site). The organizer shall also be released from the obligation to perform towards the purchaser if the organizer grants access to the event to another person upon presentation of the personalized ticket.
If tickets are reported lost or stolen, they can be blocked in accordance with the organizer’s GTC with the consequence that the right to attend the event expires.
PERSONALIZATION AND TRANSFER
All tickets will be personalized by including the name on the ticket as part of the ordering process. C2C NGO wants to grant access to the event to ticket holders only. For individually personalized tickets, identification is required at the entrance. Admission will only be granted to the person named on the ticket, provided that they can prove their identity at the entrance by means of a valid personal document, a valid driver’s license or another means of proof agreed upon with the organizer.
The misuse of third party data when purchasing personalized tickets without their declared or presumed will may result in the ticket being blocked. Re-personalization of tickets is only possible in consultation with C2C NGO, provided that the purchaser requests event data, order number, order data (e.g. date of order and means of payment used) as well as the name of the visitor originally noted on the ticket and the name of the new visitor. With the re-personalization, the originally named person loses the right to visit. Re-personalization can only take place at the latest 48 hours before the start of admission to the booked event.

A private transfer of a ticket for non-commercial reasons, in particular in individual cases of illness or other prevention of the customer, is permitted, provided that there is no case of inadmissible transfer in the sense of the GTC. In this case, the client may only transfer the rights and obligations to a third party if the third party enters into the contract in his/her place and assumes all rights and obligations. This entry requires the consent of C2C NGO.
IMPROPERLY ACQUIRED TICKETS
Tickets that have been purchased in violation of these GTC or for which there are reasonable grounds to believe that a violation has occurred may be blocked by C2C NGO after taking into account the interests of the ticket seller(s), with the consequence that the right to gain access to the event will expire. There will be no refund of the purchase price or fees. C2C NGO is permitted to prove a higher damage, the buyer is permitted to prove a lower damage.
NO USE OF TICKETS FOR COMMERCIAL OR BUSINESS PURPOSES; UNAUTHORIZED DISCLOSURE
Tickets are sold for private, non-commercial use exclusively . Any commercial or business resale of tickets is prohibited. Commercial and business ticket sales are reserved solely for C2C NGO.
In particular, it is not permitted to
(a) offer tickets for sale publicly by auction (e.g. on ebay) or to sell them
(b) offer for sale or sell tickets via ticket portals (e.g. Viagogo, StubHub, Ticketbande, etc.)
(c) to pass on tickets at a higher price than the price paid for them
(d) to sell or pass on tickets to commercial or industrial resellers and/or ticket dealers
(e) to use or allow tickets to be used commercially or for business purposes without the prior written consent of C2C NGO, e.g. for raffle purposes, for advertising or marketing purposes, as a promotional gift, or as part of an unauthorized hospitality or travel package. The transfer of tickets without the inclusion of these GTC is not permitted. C2C NGO reserves the right to block affected tickets and/or not accept further ticket orders. This also applies in cases where there is reasonable suspicion that automated programs have been or are being used to order tickets. A violation of the provisions of this paragraph leads, subject to the imposition of a contractual penalty, to the loss of the access authorization without compensation, i.e. in this case the ticket loses its validity.
6. CONTRACTUAL PENALTY
In the event of a culpable breach of one or more provisions of these GTC, C2C NGO shall be entitled to impose a contractual penalty on the respective client(s) to be determined by C2C NGO at its reasonable discretion (§ 315 BGB) , the appropriateness of which may be reviewed by the competent court in the event of a dispute.
7. REFUND
Refunds will only be made if the cancellation is made in writing within the cancellation deadlines. C2C NGO is allowed to prove higher damages and the ticket purchaser is allowed to prove lower damages
For a possible refund, C2C NGO uses the same payment method. For any refund, C2C NGO will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction. The refund will cover the printed ticket price(s) and will be made exclusively to the original ticket purchaser(s).
CHANGES TO THE CONTENT OF EVENTS
C2C NGO may change the program if special occurrences or events beyond the control of C2C NGO make this necessary. In this case, there is no entitlement to exchange of tickets or refund of the ticket price, provided that the change is insignificant.
CANCELLATION, TERMINATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF EVENTS
(a) In the event of cancellation or postponement, the ticket purchasers’ claim is only against C2C NGO and is limited to reimbursement of the face value of the ticket.
(b) If an event is canceled or postponed due to circumstances beyond the control of C2C NGO (e.g. force majeure), the right of the visitors to withdraw from the contract is excluded. If an event for which tickets have been purchased is postponed, the tickets will generally remain valid for the event now taking place on a different date.
8. APPLICATION FOR THE ATTENDANCE OF EVENTS
PARTICIPATION
Unacceptable behavior that is likely to cause disruptions in the course of the event, damage to the venue, safety devices or stage equipment, or cause a significant nuisance or infringement of the rights of others, entitles the organizer to expel the visitor from the venue. The same applies to refusal of admission. The bringing of animals is prohibited with the exception of guide dogs. The bringing of food is prohibited.
PICTURE AND SOUND RECORDINGS
C2C NGO points out that image and sound recordings are made at events. Ticket sellers will be informed about this during the order process.
9. FINAL PROVISIONS
